Our very own Brendan Molloy, was featured in In Business magazine, speaking about the massive amount of SMEs that haven’t taken advantage of R&D Tax Credits.

The article in the official Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce Magazine highlighted the fact that over 95% of those who could claim tens of thousands back from the government fail to do so, simply because they don’t know that they can do so.

However, Brendan was keen to make the DNCC and In Business readers fully aware of the benefits of R & D Tax Credits.

“The EU funds, which are administered by the HM Revenue & Customs, are designed to encourage innovation through greater R&D spending.” the article reads.

R & D Tax Credits“The tax credit works by allowing companies to deduct up to 200 per cent of qualifying expenditure on R&D activities when calculating their returns for tax purposes.”

So the benefits are clear, with companies being able to claim anything up to twice as much back, as a reward for investing in research and innovation.

“The scheme allows a retrospective claim to be made covering the last two full financial years and the money recovered is usually cash, with no constraints as to how it’s used.”

The article did well to highlight all of the benefits of the R&D Tax Credits scheme as well as our work here at Randd UK Ltd, claiming on behalf of companies as well as our immaculate success rate and the amount of money that we claim for these companies.

“Randd UK Limited is a specialised practice, solely focused on helping small to medium sized businesses make successful claims through this scheme.

“The company has achieved a 100 per cent success rate in submissions to HMRC, with an average first claim value running at over £60,000.”
